Cat 's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a liana native to South America. The trunk length can reach up to 100 m and the diameter more than 20 cm. It has thorns similar to claws, from which its German name as well as its Spanish (uña da gato) and English designation (cat's claw) are derived.
The cat's claw has been referred to as a "miracle plant" by the South American population for thousands of years.
Vitamintrend 's cat's claw tablets do not contain any additives or release agents. The only exception is the vegetable cellulose, which is needed to give the tablets their shape. Because 500 mg Katenkralle would not result in a complete tablet form.
Each daily dose of two tablets contains 1000 mg of cat's claw powder.
