It is common knowledge that it is important to take good care of your bones. After all, the skeleton provides the body with the necessary strength and stability. An important task. It is literally and figuratively instilled in you from birth that it is important to get enough calcium from your diet every day. And that sufficient exercise, for young and old, is essential. One-sided calcium supplementation outdated 
Calcium is the most important component of our bones and teeth. With an increased calcium requirement (such as in old age), it is good to pay extra attention to calcium intake. Current insights indicate, however, that a high, one-sided supplementation with a separate calcium supplement to supplement the diet does not seem to be the best option. It is better to opt for a relatively low-dose calcium supplement, which also contains the most important synergists of calcium.

Like calcium, magnesium is a structural component of bone and dental tissue and is important for the composition of bones and teeth. The body uses calcium and magnesium in a ratio of approximately 2:1. Vitamin D is a nutrient that, among other things, has the task of contributing to the proper absorption of calcium from food. In addition, this vitamin ensures that the absorption of calcium in the bones is increased. And here, vitamin K also plays a unique role, which in its own way helps with the absorption of calcium in the bone tissue. These nutrients are indispensable when it comes to supporting bone health. Quality
Apart from a sound, well-founded formulation based on studies, the quality of the ingredients used also plays an extremely important role in a bone and dental formula. For example, Bot en Tandformule Pro contains amino acid-bound minerals (calcium and magnesium bisglycinate) from Albion Minerals, the specialist in this field. These minerals are recognizable by the trademark TRAACS® (The Real Amino Acid Chelate System) and are known for their superior absorption and tolerability. Another important point is whether the vitamins used in the formula are stable in the final product. In other words, do the dosages not decrease after production or after opening the packaging, so that after a while it no longer contains what is stated on the label. Vitamin K2 in particular is known to be very unstable. Especially in combination with minerals (calcium, magnesium) but also with certain additives or under the influence of light, the vitamin K2 content in a product can decrease quickly. This is of course very undesirable, because you want to be able to store a supplement for the entire shelf life. The Norwegian manufacturer Kappa Bioscience has developed a vitamin K2 raw material that is very well protected against external influences. By means of a patented micro-encapsulation process†, the K2 is completely coated, which guarantees stability even in products with aggressive mineral compounds. Silicon
Finally, Bot en Tandformule Pro has been supplemented with the trace element silicon in a unique form with the brand name MESOPOROSIL®. After extensive research, producer Eytelia was the first to succeed in developing a form of silicon that does not have to be liquid to be properly absorbed. This means that only a few milligrams per day are sufficient for an adequate supplementation of the intake of silicon with the diet.
