Molybdenum - important for an active, healthy metabolism.

Molybdenum is one of the essential trace elements in almost all organisms. This means that it cannot be produced by the organism itself and must be supplied.

Molybdenum is needed for different metabolic processes and for energy production. It is mainly involved in the degradation of sulphur-containing amino acids and uric acid metabolism. In the formation of certain enzymes, molybdenum plays a particularly important role as a cofactor. Molybdenum enzymes are used for the body, for example, for purine decomposition and on the one hand for uric acid formation, on the other hand, certain enzymes reduce the uric acid level. Ureic acid acts as a strong antioxidant in the blood plasma. However, too much uric acid in the body can cause gout. A good uric acid level is therefore very important for health and well-being. This is ensured by normal molybdenum levels.

In the human body there are about 8 to 10 mg molybdenum, especially in the skeleton, but also in the skin, the liver, lungs and kidneys.

Dosage: 1 tablet = 150 μg molybdenum.

Recommended intake: Take 1 tablet daily, together with plenty of liquid.
