Orthomol Cardio is a food supplement. It contains important micronutrients for normal cardiac function. With the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, and also vitamin B1 (thiamine), that contribute to the normal function of the heart, plus cocoa polyphenols.
Important micronutrients for normal cardiac function
Vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid (folate) contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism. Vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, niacin, vitamin C, biotin, magnesium, iodine, copper and manganese contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
1) The omega-3 fatty acids docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and also vitamin B1 (thiamine), contribute to the normal function of the heart.
2) The beneficial effect is noticeable with a daily uptake of 250 mg EPA and DHA.
3) Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, including the heart muscle
